Job Description

 

Qualification: M.Sc. In Chemistry, M.Tech in polymer science or a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering. A PhD in the field of polyurethane would be desirable

Required Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with at least two years of experience in the area of polyurethanes. A PhD in the area of polyurethanes is a desirable qualification.   

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Single Point Contact for all students of the postgraduate diploma program in Polyurethane Technology. 
2. Need to interact with the University and Indian Polyurethane Association (IPUA) to ensure the success of the program. 
3. Involved in the development of the course in alignment with changes in the Industrial landscape. 
4. Planning and Execution of the timetable. Availability of Industry-sponsored faculty and training in Industry. 
6. Involved in setting up, operations, and maintenance of the laboratory equipments. 
7. Organize project deliverables for Students in consultation with the Industry representatives. 
8. Coordination for the academic schedules and adherence of Examinations/Evaluations. 
9. Planning & execution of actions to ensure high student registrations for the course and placement of the students.
10. To prepare capital and operational budgets for the Post Graduate Program. 
11. Arrange Student visits to the Industry for the purposes of training and skill up gradation.
