Student Committees contribute towards the overall well-being and holistic development of the students of the institute so that they emerge as responsible leaders and as active participants in the society. Student committees promote a safe and intellectually stimulating environment that encourages academic success, personality development, and student satisfaction. Student Committees include Technical Committees as well as student clubs /cells. RENAISSANCE is the Annual Technical Festival conducted by Technical Student Committees and SURGE is the Annual Cultural Festival conducted by Student Council along with various activities conducted throughout the year.

American Chemical Society (ACS) - KJSIT Student's Chapter is an organization for students who like to participate in a wide range of programs and activities that enhance their college experience and prepare them for successful careers. Some of our underlying goals are to encourage students to participate, engage themselves in various activities and events, and help develop their personal growth.

The Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI), the premier professional body of engineers in India, has contributed significantly in all faculties of engineering and all sectors of applications like academics, administration, industry, infrastructure and consultancy.
The goal of KJSIT-IEEE is to encourage, inspire and nurture young minds of students by supporting them to work with new technological ideas and help create an interactive and conductive environment for all students to learn and grow via fun learning events.
After 1 failed attempt the team finally kicked off on 28th February during National Science Day celebration in college.
The goal is to engineer a better world by inspiring, informing and influencing our students and faculty members and all those who are touched by, or touch, the work of engineers.

The major objective of the ISTE is to provide quality training programmes to teachers and administrators of technical institutions to update their knowledge and skills in their fields of activity and to assist and contribute in the production and development of top quality professional engineers and technicians needed by the industries and other organisations
Developer Students Club was inaugurated in the year 2020. It is a community-based organization for students interested in developer technologies. Here, students grow their knowledge in a peer-to-peer learning environment and build solutions for local businesses and their community.The club aims to conduct various tech talks, hackathons, seminars/workshops and competitions and to identify local organizations and businesses who would benefit from technology-based solutions and facilitate project-based problem-solving activities for club members.
K. J. Somaiya Institute of Technology inaugurated "Cyber Security & Research Cell" in the year of 2016. The vision of this cell is to become a leader in cyber security training. We create awareness about cyber crimes and security by conducting cyber security workshops, seminars and training programs for all sections of society. We establish ourselves in the position of leadership in cyber security training, thus creating lasting and positive impact on our community.

The CAREER OPPORTUNITIES FOR ENGINEERING STUDENTS IN PUBLIC SECTOR Cell offers exceptional opportunities to the students to showcase their ability to work in social sector by selecting career in public sector. COEPS provide knowledge and training about the career opportunities in public sectors. COEPS aims to provide opportunities to engineering students who are willing to serve the nation and creation of smart cities and citizens. This cell will educate about the Opportunities in public sector to achieve a good career and to serve the society for its betterment.
The project competition cell offers an exceptional opportunity to the students to showcase their ability and untapped potential to outside world. The intent of this competition cell is to motivate engineers to work on electrifying project who will be the future problem solvers. To understand best practices and demonstration of diverse project, new innovations, etc.
Internet of Things (IoT) is a bionetwork of connected physical objects that are reachable through the internet. The Internet of Things promises to transform a wide range of fields. IoT has evolved from the convergence of wireless technologies, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), micro services and the internet. The convergence has helped tear down the silos between operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT), enabling unstructured machine- generated data to be analyzed for insights to drive improvements.

Entrepreneurship cell (E-cell) is a student’s organization which identifies, nurtures and promotes entrepreneurial talent in technical students. It intends to evolve in to a world-class entrepreneurial talent in technical students. E-cell helps aspiring entrepreneurs to set up their own firms and by providing them proper guidance by hosting various workshops, expert sessions, competitions and supporting them by providing necessary resources such as seed funding, monitoring and network, It is associated with the national entrepreneurship Network(NEN) to interact with and learn from like minded people.
