Two-day Seminar in Kannada On "Space and Defense" Funded by AICTE-VAANI (Vibrant Advocacy for Advancement and Nurturing of Indian Languages) 

Introduction In today’s world, we are observing the transformation and the modification that is taking place in space and Defense technology which is remarkable and plays a very important role in humankind. We are noticing the modification of space-based technology from a single based satellite to a multi-based satellite global technology. This transformation is helpful in the automation sector. The production technologies involved in Space system manufacturing and services benefits the world in terms of cost, time and quality. Technology in space is accessible to all and plays a major role in our daily lives. The major application of Space Technology is in the Defense sector of the country. Technology in space is increasingly becoming a critical and strategic tool in the modern scenario. Most of the developed countries are primarily focusing more on the military side of space. India is also putting more emphasis on developing military space and its deliverables. This seminar aims to provide an insight about developments in the field of Space and Defense. Topics • Exploring space and satellites • Applications of satellite images in agriculture and defense • Role of satellites in climate prediction • Latest developments in Indian Navy • Designing Electronics for Space: Challenges and Innovations.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria Faculties / Students / Research Fellows / Working Professionals from Industry are eligible to apply. Certificate will be awarded to participants who attend the seminar full-time and successfully participate in all the activities.
