Kiran Ramesh Rathod joined KJSIEIT as a lecturer with an experience of teaching and Industry.

Prior to joining KJSIEIT, Kiran was a lecturer at Shah and Anchor Kutchii Polytechnic, Chembur ( from August 2005- June 2006) and at Padmabhushan Vasantdada Patil Prathisthan college of Engineering, Sion for one semester (2006). From 2003 to 2005 (2.6 years), kiran held positions as service Engineer at Hitech Electronix (P) Ltd.

Kiran Ramesh Rathod pursuing Ph. D in technology from Mumbai University (Thakur College of Engineering and Technology, Kandivali), has completed a Master of Engineering degree in Digital Electronics (Electronics Engineering) from Sipna’s College of Engineering and Technology Amravati (Amravati University) in 2011 with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering from Babasaheb Naik college of Engineering, Pusad (Amravati University) in 2002. He is fluent in several Indian languages. He is a Life member of the ISTE and IET Society.

Currently he is working as an Assistant Professor in Electronics and Telecommunication Department and handling responsibilities of Microwave and fiber Optic Lab. (604) as a Lab. In-charge. He is also involved in research activity as a Project Co-ordinator  of "Real Time Location System" project governed by Databyte Services and Systems in association with K. J. Somaiya Institute Of Engineering and Information Technology. He has served in many administrative works such as website In charge of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering Department, AICTE related work, admission related work and CAP coordinator and currently handling  Time Table Incharge of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering department. He has attended eleven Short term training programs on various subjects. He has organised ISTE approved one week short term training program (STTP) on “Research Methodology and related open source tools” and "Recent Trends and Development in Modern Antennas, RF and Microwave System" In association with Entuple Technologies Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore for Research scholars and faculties, two one day Workshops on “Latex for Windows” for staff, and "Advanced EDA tools for Microwave Circuit Design" under the subject heading Advanced Microwave Engineering for final year students. He has also delivered lectures on Body wearable Textile Antenna  in FDP. He has conducted Internship Training for SE and TE students and trainded students on HFSS antenna design software of EXTC department. He has presented and published twenty seven papers in National / international Journals and conferences.
