Prof. Harshawardhan P. Ahire is Assistant Professor who takes a Hand, opens a Mind and touches a Heart. His Patient and generous and his boundless thoughtfulness imprints lives of students forever in their Mind and Heart. Throughout all the years and in everything he does, he has focused most of all on the development of human capacity, beginning with his own ideas, and leveraging his expertise to enrich the students. The biggest quality of Prof. Harshawardhan is he listen others patiently and quietly. He is very understanding and always beliefs in giving second chance. He is always on his toes because of his go getter attitude. He never backs down even though the things are not working; he is a strong follower of “Every incident has its own importance in your life it may be good or bad”. He likes to cherish relations he made with other people and him never afraid of to say sorry if he is wrong. He is always being a self learner.

Prof. Harshawardhan is a sports person he represented his college till university level in various games like Hockey, football, cricket. He was active member of technical festival organising committee in his college days.

Prof. Harshawardhan P. Ahire  joins K. J. Somaiya Institute of Engineering & Information Technology, Sion as a lecturer with over 8 years experience in teaching 4 years of industrial experience, applying a strong expertise in class control, long-term strategic planning. Harshawardhan will be a welcome addition to the Teaching learning process at K.J.S.I.E.I.T. offers to its students.

Prior to joining K.J.S.I.E.I.I.T., Harshawardhan was a lecturer for Rizvi College of Engineering, Bandra, where he was handled positions like sports in charge, Training & Placement Officer (TPO). He was involved in exploring new job openings as well as new career options for the students along with training in that fields. He managed a very healthy relationship between students of all departments and himself which helped him to organize the first VERVE technical festival at RCOE. He was also involved in sports activities at RCOE where he successfully managed college participation in university games and college sports events single handed.

From 2002 through 2005, Harshawardhan was Industrial Lesion officer along with lecturer at BGIT, managing a Industrial relations with industries to generate work opportunities as well as training opportunities for the students. Function with industries like L&T, Reliance where he managed to organize Industrial Visits and Signing MOU with them In addition, Harshawardhan was an integral member of the organizing committees for KSHITIJ, where he led the project exhibition committee.

Previous to this, Harshawardhan held positions as Maintenance & Quality Control Manager at Nageswar Infotech Pvt. Ltd. Where he started from the position of a Hardware Engineer

He belongs from a well educated family. His father was working as class one officer in State government and his mother was working as Principal in BMC School. Both of them have worked very hard to motivate Prof. Harshawardhan to become an Engineer and then inculcating good things in to his personality. His elder sister is doctor and another elder sister is a senior professor in reputed college at Mumbai. They always became a light house for him to preserve good values and encouraged him to fulfil his goals.

Prof. Harshawardhan likes to play Hockey, football, cricket i.e. all outdoor games. Learn them excel in to it. He likes to play indoor games like Carom, Table Tennis. He is also fond of reading books and drawing sketches. He always spend his spare time while playing computer games and learning new things and tries to outshine in to it.

His role models are his parents who had devoted their lives for betterment of their family and make their children a good human being. A human being is not attaining his full heights until he is educated.

He is moves everywhere with a broad smile on his face even though he is having any problem. He is strong believer of god and he always thinks that whatever happens is for good. Never lose your hope and every bad thing can be turned in to good if you try. Prof. Ahire always rose from the ashes like a phoenix.

As Prof. Harshawardhan likes to cherish his relations he always makes friend very easily and quality makes him to generate a bond with others in the group. He always thinks twice before making any comment or statement if he is in a group. He always sees himself while wearing others shoes, Never afraid of giving second chance but never take him as granted.

The more difficult task you give him the stronger he will become to complete it. The feeling of completing the task motivates him work.  He thinks that if you stop that you are finished. He never expects appreciation from others but if he gets it he works harder to make it worth.

Mr. Harshawardhan always tries to be soft spoken, greets every one with broad smile, makes everyone  feel comfortable and show interest in the things whatever he/ she wants to say even thought he is in great deal of busy schedule he keeps it aside for a while and listens. He Try to come up with a solution for the problem. If solution is not possible he is always ready to help who ever asks for it.

Prof. Harshawardhan P. Ahire pursuing a Master of Engineering degree in Electronics Engineering from Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering Bandra, He completed Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering from M.G.M. COE Nanded. After completing Double Diploma in Digital Electronics from Bombay Institute of Technology, Worli Mumbai, He had also done Diploma in Computer Technology from Vivekanand Education Society’s Polytechnic Chembur, Mumbai

Prof. Harshawardhan started his career while teaching lower semester theory subjects like Analog & Digital IC – Design & Application, Digital Logic Design and Applications, Digital System Design, Basic of Electronics. Later onwards he switched to higher semester where he taught subjects like Principles of Control Systems, Microprocessors & Microcontrollers I & II, Microwave Devices & Components, Optical Fibre Communication.

His field of interest in engineering are Image Processing and Robotics and Embedded systems.

He is life member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), as well as he is associate member of “International Association of Engineers” (IAENG), Spain, “International Association of Computer Science & Information Technology” (IACSIT), Singapore, “Universal Association of Electronics & Computer Engineers” (UACEE) Australia.

For his dear fellow engineers he always says that “we can solve the problem by using the same thinking we used to create them” and “life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets” so keep smiling & remain happy always. Because happiness is a direction not the destination
