Mr. Pankaj Deshmukh is an experienced academician with interdisciplinary expertise in Electronics Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science, and a strong commitment to teaching excellence, laboratory development, and holistic student mentoring.

He completed his Master of Engineering (M.E.) in Electronics Engineering from Mumbai University. He earned his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Industrial Electronics Engineering from Anuradha Engineering College, Chikhali, affiliated with Amravati University, in 2004.and pursuing PHD in computer Science and Engineering

With 2 years of prior teaching experience, Mr. Deshmukh was selected for the Department of Electronics at K.J. Somaiya Institute of Engineering & Information Technology (KJSIT) in 2006. Since then, he has made significant contributions to undergraduate engineering education by teaching a wide range of core electronics subjects, including:

• Engineering Electromagnetics

• Microprocessors and Microcontrollers (MPMC)

• Basic Electrical Circuits (BEC)

• Electronic Circuit Analysis and Design (ECAD)

• Electronic Devices and Circuits – I & II (EDC-I, EDC-II)

He has been a regular UGC-approved faculty member in the Department of Electronics at KJSIT since March 2007 and has actively coordinated and led the Basic Electronic Circuits Laboratory and Basic Electrical & Electronics Engineering Laboratory, with a focus on outcome-based and experiential learning.

Currently, Mr. Deshmukh is serving in the Department of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AI & DS), where he is involved in teaching and mentoring students in emerging technologies. His present teaching responsibilities include:

• Artificial Intelligence

• Discrete Structures for Data Science

• Maching Learning

These subjects emphasize logical thinking, mathematical foundations, and problem-solving skills essential for data-driven and intelligent systems.

Beyond academics, Mr. Deshmukh is also contributing to student development and social engagement as the NSS Programme Officer at KJSIT, promoting community service, leadership qualities, and ethical responsibility among students.
