Introduction

Vidya Sagvekar has been Assistant Professor at KJSIEIT since 2008.

Born and raised in Mumbai, she completed her undergraduate education in Mumbai. She completed a Diploma in Industrial Electronics from Govt Polytechnic, Bandra in 2001 and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Pune University in 2004 and a Master of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication from Mumbai University in 2013. Currently pursuing Ph.D. from NMIMS University.

Her current research interest includes engineering education with particular emphasis on speech processing.

She has published/presented papers across India. She has guided various undergraduate projects based on microcontroller, Zigbee technology, and VHDL.

She teaches core subjects like Digital System Design, Digital Circuits & Design, and advances subjects like VLSI Design, MEMS Technology, Instrumentation System Design. In addition to her teaching responsibilities at KJSIEIT, Prof. Vidya has served on the various committees at the college. She has worked as Lab-In-Charge of VLSI lab.

In addition to her professional activities, Prof. Vidya enjoys mentoring, Reading books and playing games.
