  • Abstract

Total Quality Management (TQM) concept is best fit for the survival and competitiveness of manufacturing and service SMEs. It has been applied successfully in developed countries SMEs compared to Asian countries SMEs. To develop successful total quality management an approach essential among Asian SMEs is an attempt of this paper. The proposed framework is obtained from the thorough study of the practices followed and gaps identified through the literature reviewed for these SMEs. The frame work involves practices based on flow diagram consists of quality culture and decision making, quality focus, quality process and quality outcomes with two way satisfaction i.e. customer and stakeholder satisfaction. The framework is based on the review of literature and the perspective of various researchers’. It is prescriptive to SMEs of this region of globe and its further validation is future part of author’s research.
