In our day today life One of the life-threatening diseases is a brain tumor. For diagnosis, it is very important to identify and detect brain tumor in the early stage. The detection must be fast and accurate. The tumor can be detected by processing of MRI [magnetic resonance image]. Manually detection and extraction of brain tumor is a time-consuming process hence the need for computer-aided automatic system arises. Different automated classification algorithms have been introduced. In our projected system, different techniques are used such as image processing, segmentation, feature extraction, and classification. The aim of our research work is to introduce the computer-aided technology to classify brain tumor. We extract the textual features using GLCM and apply the neural network to perform the classification.
